H1Z1‘s PC version is set to get a new map which might be familiar to fans of the game’s earlier iterations. The game on PS4 is also smashing milestones, too.
In a massive game update for the PC version of H1Z1 players will be able to dive into a brand new map as well as experience a number of improvements including animations and much more.
The new map, titled Outbreak, is an 8×8 square kilometre map which is designed for a more frantic fast-paced affair. What’s more, it includes a number of landmarks from Z1, the initial map from the games initial stint in Early Access. Outbreak does however have some of its own unique additions too.
Various gameplay mechanics have also been changed to reflect the early H1Z1 game as well improved running and jumping as well as animations which make it all seem a little more responsive.
Outbreak is now available in Solos, Duos, and Fives Modes on Windows PC.
Daybreak has also announced today that the PlayStation 4 version of H1Z1 Battle Royale has hit a new milestone of 10 million players. In a little email blast today, Daybreak revealed that players have put over 102 million hours into the game during its first month of Open Beta.
To celebrate the news, all players who have downloaded H1Z1 will receive a Darkfire Pickup Truck and Sunrise Parachute in-game skin for free! Though you’d have had to have logged into the game prior to 11:59 PM PT Wednesday, June 27, 2018 to become eligible.
In addition, a massive game update has also been added to PS4 too which includes new Revive mechanics and aim acceleration adjustments. There’s also a new weapon, the Airstrike Signal, which, as you might have guessed, calls in an airstrike.
