Piranha Games has announced that their upcoming title, MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries will be delayed until 2019.
The reason for the delay, according to Piranha Games president Russ Bullock, is the usual comments of bringing the optimum and best game to players. Bullock announced the news, along with a statement on Twitter:

While we’ve seen MechWarrior games over the years, none have quite delivered the single player gameplay players expect from a MechWarrior title, and considering players have been waiting for a new entry into the MechWarrior franchise since 2000, I guess another year can’t hurt, right?
More information on MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries is set to come out of MechCon where Piranha Games hopes to announce a solid release date.
