Skylanders Ring of Heroes has launched into global beta on Android, developer Com2uS has announced, also revealing how players can get involved.
Activisions incredibly popular toys-to-life game, Skylanders, has made the leap to mobile with Skylanders Ring of Heroes, a brand new mobile RPG “experience” that’ll see players assume the role of a portal master once again.
This time however, the action-packed world of Skylanders will be transformed into a turn-based, action RPG adventure. Other than that, it’s a pretty familiar affair as Kaos is once again causing… chaos in the world of Skylanders.
Of course one of the main big omissions is the lack of any physical toys to transport in the game. That’s because in Skylanders Ring of Heroes players will be able to collect and grow their favourite Skylanders and their elemental powers to form unique attacks against Kaos’ army.
The game will also feature a PvP mode where players can pit their Skylanders against each other in the Championship Arena with real-time battles.
The Global Beta test is set to end on June 25 and will be exclusive to Google Play. Players can head to the Google Play store to download the game. Skylanders Ring of Heroes is set to land on Android and iOS later this year.
