Stranger Things is set to bring the upside down to comicbooks thanks to a new partnership between Netflix and Dark Horse Publishing.

Stranger Things is set to hit comicbook stores in September 2018 and will give fans of the Netflix Original a chance to dive into the world of Hawkins while they wait for the third season of the hit show.

In addition to a series of comicbooks, Dark Horse also plans to publish a line of young adult graphic novels expanding the town of Hawkins and its residents. Dark Horse has also revealed that writer Jody Houser (Faith, Orphan Black, Mother Panic), penciller Stefano Martino (Legs Weaver, Nathan Never), inker Keith Champagne (JSA, Superboy), colorist Lauren Affe (Rebels, Five Ghosts), and letterer Nate Piekos (Briggs Land, Green Arrow) will be a part of this new publishing partnership to bring Hawkins to life on paper.

This new deal will begin with Stranger Things #1 which is the first of a four-part series that’ll once again seem Will Byers entering the Upside Down once more. It’ll feature cover art from Aleksi Briclot (New Avengers, Maskemane), as well as three variant covers from Rafael Albuquerque (American Vampire, Blue Beetle), visual artist Kyle Lambert, and a photo-variant cover designed by Patrick Satterfield and Netflix.

Stranger Things #1 hits stores on September 26, 2018. Dark Horse is expected to reveal more details about the publishing program and what else will come out of the partnership later this year.
