Shared as part of the QA session at the end of their 39th shareholders meeting earlier this month, Capcom were asked if there’d be a Switch port of Monster Hunter: World. While the answer was no, they still left it was some hope.
The reason given was that the game simply isn’t possible on the Switch. But Capcom did say that the Switch might be seeing some sort of Monster Hunter game in the future, that isn’t Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate.
Whether that means we’ll be seeing something built from the ground up for the Switch, or whether we’ll see something using the same old tired engine, only time will tell.
Monster Hunger Generations Ultimate is coming to Nintendo Switch on August 28.
