Following a quiet week, FIFA 18 has returned to the top spot thanks to heavy retail promotion of its brand new World Cup mode.
As you might expect, with the World Cup just around the corner, anyone interested in football is going to do all they can to get as involved as possible, or simply create a virtual team and dive head first into their own version of the event. So it comes as no real surprise that FIFA 18 is in first place once again.
Last week’s number one, Detroit: Become Human, has fallen to second place just ahead of Far Cry 5 which rises to third place this week. God of War continues to sit in fourth place followed by a new release, SEGA Mega Drive Classics, which lands in fifth.
Street Fighter: 30th Anniversary Collection also launched last week landing in sixth place.
The rest of the top ten is largely the same as last week. In the top forty however, there are plenty of movement from game bundles, such as Sea of Thieves moving from twenty-eighth to fifteenth and DOOM from thirty-one to eighteen.
Finally, the only other games which launched last week were Tennis World Tour and Agony which land in thirty-first and thirty-second, respectively.
