Announced by developer Fatshark, Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is set to launch on Xbox One July 11, with an Xbox Insider open beta available now!
If you’re a Sony fan, don’t worry. Fatshark will also be bringing the melee coop action to PlayStation 4. “We don’t have a date for it yet, but will communicate that soon. We don’t expect it to be too far away, but we want to do one system at a time to be able to maintain the highest quality of the releases.”
As is to be expect with releases now, Verminitide 2 will be enhanced for Xbox One X, as well as having native 4K support.
Unfortunately, the Xbox One version isn’t going to support cross-platform play with PC, as the PC version of the game uses Steam multiplayer lobbies and it makes them incompatible with other sources.
Unfortunatly no, we use steam lobbies on pc and the xbox multiplayer architecture on xbox one so they're not compatible

It’s safe to assume that the PlayStation 4 version wont support cross-play either, though Sony are probably thankful for a reason to use other than “security reasons”.
