I don’t think a lot of people expected Netflix’s Castlevania series to be received as well as it was. Thankfully, it was a surprise hit and as such will be getting a second season which fans can expect late this October.
Warren Ellis, one of the writers for the series, took to Twitter to formally announce the release date for Castlevania season 2. It should come as no surprise that the series will be picking up again around Halloween.
“CASTLEVANIA Season 2. Eight episodes. OCTOBER 26, only on Netflix.” read Ellis’ tweet. Along with his announcement, the show’s Twitter account also posted some new stills from the upcoming season.

Netflix’s Castlevania follows Trevor Belmont, one of the sole survivors of the Belmont clan and a monster hunter for hire. After the infamous vampire king’s wife is wrongly burned at the stake for witchcraft, it is up to Trevor to protect the innocent townsfolk from his wrath. The series follows Trevor as he works towards saving humanity from Dracula’s rampage against mankind.
