Square Enix and Capcom have now announced when Final Fantasy 14 players will be able to find Monster Hunter: World content in the game, and they won’t have too long to wait.
Coming August 7, Final Fantasy 14: Stormblood players will be put to the test as one of Monster Hunter: World’s toughest monsters, “King of the Skies,” Rathalos, will be coming to the game. This event will come as part of Patch 4.36 which also includes the next installment of The Forbidden Land Eureka titled “The Pagos Expedition.”
Players who are Level 70 and have completed the main Stormblood scenario quest will be able to take on Rathalos in both Normal and Extreme versions of The Great Hunt trial. The Normal version will see up to eight Warriors of Light team up, whereas Extreme will only see four.
As part of the collaboration, a collection of rewards will also be coming to the game including a new Rathalos Mount, new minions in the form of Poogie and Palico, as well as a new armor set inspired by Rathalos. Oh, and a BBQ Spit.
