The Crew 2 is following in the footsteps of its predecessor, Ubisoft has announced during their financial conference.

Speaking to investors at Ubisoft’s financial conference call today, Chief Executive Officer Yives Guillemot and Chief Financial Officer Alain Martinez made note that The Crew 2 is currently performing in line with the first title.

“Its activity is trending in line with The Crew 1, which had benefited from a Christmas launch. Its digital performance is outperforming” Martinez said.

Guillemot added that the company hopes to see a proportion of The Crew 2’s lifetime sales realised over the next two or three years, adding that titles such as The Crew 2 are often stronger in the long-term. Martinez agreed, noting that the first title brought in almost as much revenue in its second year as in its first.
