Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is back at the top of the charts again making this the eighth time the game has been the UK’s number one.
Thanks to the launch of the Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch versions of the game, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy rose 21 places to first. Of the three formats, the Xbox One version sold the most with the Nintendo Switch edition missing out by just 250 sales. Adding these sales figures to those previously sold on PlayStation 4 puts the game at more than half a million sales in the UK alone.
Sitting in second place this week is another new entry, The Crew 2, Ubisoft’s second attempt at creating a massive “CAR-PG”. This time however players can switch between cars, boats, and aeroplanes. Unfortunately the game has sold 25% less than its predecessor.
Last week’s number one, Mario Tennis Aces, has fallen to fourth place this week being outsold by FIFA 18 which continues to see steady sales thanks to the World Cup.
Interestingly Star Wars Battlefront 2 is back in the charts thanks to price promotions, putting the game in seventh place this week.
Another re-release this week saw Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus arrive on the Nintendo Switch, putting the game in seventeenth place this week. Harvest Moon: A Light of Hope is another new entry in twenty-sixth, and finally Far Cry 3 Classic Edition lands in thirty-seventh.
