World of Warcraft’s monthly subscription is set to include the base game and the expansion content, Blizzard has announced.
So, for the measly cost of £9.99 a month you’ll be able to grind your way through everything including the most recent expansion Legion. No longer will you need to worry about what you’re missing when you inevitably jump back into WoW.
Naturally, Battle For Azeroth won’t be included in this deal, meaning you’ll still have to pony up the £39.99 when it drops this August
This change streamlines the process for anyone still thinking about getting into, or coming back to World of Warcraft now and given the current state of literally everything being games as service, the easier Blizzard makes it to get players back in, the better.
Battle for Azeroth is set to be World Of Warcraft’s seventh expansion and arrives on August 14. Set to feature Warfronts, Allied Races, an increase of character level to 120, and two new zones: Zandalar and Kul Tiras. There’s also a handy new item, the Heart of Azeroth, which apparently will power up other pieces of equipment your hero will wear.
