Microsoft has announced via the Xbox Wire that the Amnesia Collection is coming to Xbox One later this week.
The Amnesia Collection launched first on PS4 bundling together Amnesia: The Dark Descent, the Justine DLC, and its sequel, Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs, and now it’s making its way to Xbox One.
Amnesia: The Dark Descent launched way back in 2010 and it was partly responsible for bringing decent horror titles to the mainstream. Since 2010 we’ve seen some fantastic horror titles which likely have Amnesia to thank, such as Outlast.
In The Dark Descent players take the role of a protagonist named Daniel exploring a dark castle which is full of horrors lurking in the shadows. This particular title had players not only keeping an eye on their health but also their sanity. As more and more encounters and scares were witnessed, Daniel’s sanity depleted.
It’s a pretty spooky experience, so if you’re yet to play Amnesia: The Dark Descent, now is a pretty good time to pick it up.
The Amnesia Collection launches on Xbox One on August 31.
