Kunos Simulazioni and 505 Games has this week announced that Assetto Corsa Competizione will be skidding into Early Access on Steam on September 12, 2018.
Assetto Corsa Competizione is the follow-on from Assetto Corsa and brings with it a ton of new improvements and gameplay features to turn the game’s simulation up to 11. The upcoming title will feature official drivers and teams, as well as vehicles and circuits with an insane level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Built in Unreal Engine 4, the game is set to offer the highest quality rendering with photorealistic weather conditions as well as incredibly accurate vehicle physics giving players the true feeling of driving around some of the world’s most renown tracks.
Once in Early Access, Kunos Simulazioni has revealed that the game will receive monthly expansion updates to introduce new vehicles, tracks, and features up to the game’s full launch in “early 2019”. Once it fully launches, the game is set to offer a wide range of difficulty options, an in-depth rating system, and a branching multiplayer mode which will suit both new and skilled drivers.
Oh, and the game will also offer the chance to race a full 24-hour race with options for driver swaps in both single and multiplayer modes.
