Revolution Software and Ravenscourt have announced that Broken Sword 5 – The Serpent’s Curse will be launching on the Nintendo Switch on September 21.
I absolutely adore the Broken Sword series and while nothing can quite top that of Broken Sword 1 and 2, Broken Sword 5 comes close. Now if you missed out on the PS Vita release, you’ll be pleased to know that the game will once again let you play on the go as it’s coming to Nintendo Switch in September packed full of exclusive content.
The Nintendo Switch version of Broken Sword 5 – The Serpent’s Curse will come with some never-before-seen behind the scenes videos as well as a brand new “innovative” interface specific to the console. These exclusive movies will be unlocked as the player progresses through the game’s intense story of a murder conspiracy.
“Switch is so wonderfully accessible – and adventures offer the ideal portable game experience,” said Charles Cecil, CEO, and Founder of Revolution Software. “We were determined to make the most of the Nintendo’s innovative hardware with exclusive content and controls. This really is the ideal way to experience Broken Sword 5 – the Serpent’s Curse.”
It’s good to hear that Revolution Studios is still committed to bringing Broken Sword to the masses. Here’s hoping that this news means they’re working on Broken Sword 6, maybe? (please!)
