Activision has announced that the Blackout battle royale mode for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will be getting its own beta on September 10.
This limited beta will begin first for PlayStation 4 owners, likely with PC and Xbox One players to follow. Pre-orders will, of course, be required in order to access, though there’s a chance the PC version will be open.
The news comes via a Tweet from the official Call of Duty Twitter account, teasing a little more about Blackout revealing that a solo, duo, and squad mode will be available, though, for the most part, Activision and Treyarch have kept a lot of info under wraps.
We also have no idea how many players Call of Duty: Black Ops 4‘s Blackout mode will hold, but we do know that characters, weapons, and vehicles from the Black Ops franchise will be included in the mode. It’ll also be played on a map that’ll feature iconic locations such as Nuketown.
