Studio MDHR has announced that their old-school platform shoot-’em-up, Cuphead, has surpassed 3 million sales.

Set in the style of a 1920s cartoon, Cuphead won the hearts of many who braved attempt its hard-as-balls gameplay, so much so that the studio has announced it has hit 3 million sales across PC and Xbox One.

To celebrate the news, Studio MDHR has popped the game on sale on Steam and Xbox One for those yet to pick the game up, and it’s a pretty good time to do so because the game is set to get its first DLC, The Delicious Last Course.

The Delicious Last Course was unveiled at E3 2018 and will introduce a new playable character, new weapons, a new island, as well as charms and bosses to take on. A release date for Cuphead‘s first add-on has yet to be announced, though the developer is aiming for a 2019 release.
