Dark Souls Trilogy Announced, Coming to Consoles This Year

Are we even surprised at this point?

Remasters, bundles, and re-releases are becoming a thing apparently (thanks Skyrim), and now, Bandai Namco are jumping on that bandwagon with the Dark Souls Trilogy.

As if October wasn’t going to be a crazy month already with the ever-growing list of releases dropping this Fall, you can add yet another title to your list. Oh, and the best part? It drops the SAME DAY as the Dark Souls Remaster for Switch. Decisions.

Jenn Tsang, executive at Bandai Namco, said, “The Dark Souls Trilogy gives those who haven’t played the Dark Souls series a great opportunity to jump in and experience what has become one of the most influential video game series of the past decade. The magic of Dark Souls lies within its ability to challenge players with highly rewarding gameplay and deliver a euphoric sense of accomplishment after beating a particularly tough boss, or area in the game.”

The trilogy will bundle all three games, obviously, complete with all of their DLC content. This is the perfect collectors item for any fan of the series because it offers all of the best versions of the three titles across 3 respective discs. You’ll get the Dark Souls Remaster which recently released for consoles and PC back in May, the Scholar of the First Sin edition of Dark Souls 2 (which we don’t talk about a lot), and the Fire Fades Edition of Dark Souls 3, all collected and encased within a slick Steelbook case! All of this can be yours for the low price of $79.99.

Well.. it can be yours if you live in the United States of Asia. For whatever reason the UK will not be receiving this trilogy at the time of this writing, but hey, that’s what Amazon is for right?

Check out the announcement trailer below, the Dark Souls Trilogy drops for PS4, Xbox One, and PC October 19!
