Announced during the Inside Xbox show at Gamescom, Devil May Cry 5 is set to pull your Devil Trigger on March 8, 2019.

The latest title in the long-running series is set to release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. Not content with just giving us a release date, Capcom also had a brand new trailer for us too, as well as detailing how Nero’s new “Devil Breaker” arm will work.

The Devil Breakers are crafted by Nero’s ally Nico and they grant demon-slaying powers. There are eight variations of the Devil Breaker in Devil May Cry 5 and so far, we’ve seen two. The Overture is an electrified arm that can shock enemies while the Gerbera can shoot out can shoot out a pretty rad laser. Obviously, you can also snatch enemies and drag them to you like you could in Devil May Cry 4 with the Devil Bringer. Most importantly though, is that you can skate around on your rocket-powered arm! Does this confirm Skate X DMC? I’ll let you decide that.

Nero is also rocking the Red Queen, meaning you’ll still be revving up your sword to change how the attacks work or increase damage, as well as having the Blue Rose to handle all his long range needs.

Dante also shows up (properly) at the end of the new Devil May Cry 5 trailer. Looking more dishevelled than usual, Dante is also packing an impressive motorcycle/dual blade set up. Judging by this, Devil May Cry 5 is set to be almost certainly more bonkers than anything previously seen in the series.

is set to drop March 8, 2019 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox one. Are you excited? Let us know in the comment section below!
