Sony has unveiled the next handful of games coming to the PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection and surprise, Destiny 2 is one of them.
If you’re yet to get into Activision’s action RPG shooter sequel, then now’s probably your chance, y’know considering the game’s next big expansion, Destiny 2: Forsaken is set to land next month. Of course, you’ll be miles behind everyone else, but it’s fun to play catch-up, right?
That being said, despite getting the base game for free, in order to get into the upcoming expansion players will need to purchase the Expansion Pass and Forsaken separately which unsurprisingly comes to $60 – the price of the base game.
It’s a bit of a backhanded “freebie” especially considering in a few weeks time the base game will basically be obsolete.
If you couldn’t give two shits about Destiny, then the next game coming to PS4 might tickle your fancy as it’s God of War 3: Remastered which is a pretty decent deal on its own – though it’s not quite this year’s God of War.
Here’s the full list of games that’ll be available on September 4. That means you’ve also got a few days to grab last month’s offerings.
- Destiny 2 (PS4)
- God of War 3: Remastered (PS4)
- Knowledge is Power (PS Plus Bonus: PlayLink)
