Logitech G has this week announced that they’ve upgraded their iconic Logitech G502 Gaming Mouse with the company’s HERO 16k sensor.
The Logitech G502 Gaming Mouse is probably Logitech’s most well-known gaming mouse with its 11 programmable buttons, and now it’s getting a new lease of life with the Logitech G502 HERO Gaming Mouse. The HERO 16k sensor is the company’s highest performance and most accurate sensor, so that’s a pretty impressive upgrade.
The upgrades don’t stop their either, as the mouse will also get Logitech G’s Lightsynnc RGB technology as well as an upgraded mechanical switch, developed in partnership with Omron, delivers extreme performance and a 50M click durability.
“The original G502 is a fan favourite, but we’ve developed some incredible sensor technology since it first launched,” said Ujesh Desai, vice president and general manager of Logitech Gaming. “Adding HERO 16K to G502 makes it even more awesome, and we think people are going to love it.”
The HERO 16k sensor features an all-new lens and updated tracking algorithms that allow it to deliver precise tracking with zero acceleration, smoothing, or filtering. The sensor is also capable of exceeding 400 IPS and delivering 16,000 DPI tracking.
So how much is it going to cost? Well, the Logitech G502 HERO Gaming Mouse will set you back £79.99 and is expected to be available at global retailers in October 2018
