Larned make a short, sweet statement on Twitter regarding his retirement from the Overwatch League, where he was a fan favourite within the Dallas Fuel team.

Dallas Fuel offered a more candid responce in their statement, describing Larned as “a fan favorite with one of the largest followings and most decorated resumes in competitive gaming.”
Mike Rufail, owner and CEO of Envy Gaming left the following in the team’s statement:
“We have nothing but love for Brandon,” said Rufail “Seagull joined us at a time when Team Envy had the most dominant roster in North America in Overwatch and helped contribute throughout the ups and the downs of our first Overwatch League season as the Dallas Fuel. We support Brandon in his decision and he leaves us on good terms. We’ll always be pleased that he chose to make his final act in professional Overwatch with the Dallas Fuel.”
Larned has also recieved well wishes from some of his competetors within the Overwatch League, cementing his status as one of the favourites in the league, among fans and players.

It’s a shame to see Brandon “Seagull” Larned retire from professional Overwatch, but we’ll still be able to catch him live, as he’s shifting his focus back to streaming. You can catch Larned over on his Twitch channel, where he currently holds 760,000 followers. We’re sure to see him streaming the upcoming Summer Games event also.
