Microsoft has unveiled two brand new styles of Xbox One controllers, one of which is a massive throwback to the 90s.
This week Microsoft has unveiled two new styles of Xbox One controller, Phantom Black, and Grey/Blue. While the Grey/Blue is actually pretty stunning, what caught my eye was the throwback transparent look of the Phantom Black controller.
That’s right, it seems like transparent tech is coming back on trend as Sony have their limited 500 million console PS4 Pro, and now Microsoft with this:
This stunning looking controller will retail for $70 USD and will launch globally on September 11.
Next up is the Grey/Blue controller, which in its own right is a pretty good looking controller, though up against the Phantom Black controller… I digress. The Grey/Blue controller will cost $65 and will be available first in the US and Canada from September 25 then it’ll roll out globally on October 9.
Both Xbox One controllers are currently available for pre-order over on the Microsoft Store. It may also be coming to local retailers, though it’ll be worth checking beforehand.
