Another week, another UK Gaming Chart where Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is at the top once again. This is definitely a summer to be remembered.
With eight number ones in the bag, is there anything that could stop Crash Bandicoot‘s reign? Well, probably, we’re just going to have to wait a couple of weeks, I guess. With little in the way of new releases this week, the charts pretty much remain the same.
The only notable new entry is World of Warcraft: The Battle for Azeroth that lands in third place. That’s actually pretty surprising considering the majority of that game’s sales were likely digital downloads rather than physical purchases.
In second place is another familiar face which we can’t seem to shake from the UK Top 40 and that’s GTA 5, which has risen in sales for the past four weeks.
With next week looking as bleak as this with titles such as Shenmue 1 and 2 and F1 2018 being the only real contenders there’s a chance that Crash Bandicoot will get its ninth consecutive number one, putting it on par with Call of Duty: WW2.
