2K Games has announced that the story-driven 2K Showcase mode is back in WWE 2K19 after a two-game absence in a pretty big way.
The mode, titled The Return of Daniel Bryan, will follow the career of the famed WWE Superstar told in his own words through plenty of video content packed into the story mode. From his early days in sports entertainment to his retirement all the way to his return, Bryan goes through it all as players play through key matches in his career.
During these matches, players will be required to hit objectives that’ll trigger cinematic cutscenes, allowing the user to recreate some of the match’s iconic moments. In addition, achieving objectives also unlocks special arenas, Superstars, outfits, and of course, belts.
For fans of Bryan, I’m sure this is a pretty welcomed addition to the game, even then, fans of the game will likely appreciate a little history lesson.
