Warner Bros. has dated the upcoming Birds of Prey movie which is set to see Margot Robbie return once again as Harley Quinn.
Birds of Prey is expected to hit theatres on February 7, 2020 which falls in a similar window to the upcoming Bond movie. Shooting is expected to begin in early 2019 with stars such as Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Margaret Qualley, Jurnee Smolett-Bell, and Cristin Milioti screen testing for the flick.
The movie is also set to feature Bat Girl, but not as we’d expect. Specifically, it looks like Barbara Gordon will be in the movie but not in her superhero gear. Margot Robbie spoke previously about the movie saying that it’ll be more of an “R-Rated Girl Gang” flick evolving the previously rumored standalone Harley Quinn movie.
DC Extended Universe hasn’t really had many successes as of late, and with the recent news that Henry Cavill will be hanging up his cape as Super Man, all eyes are on future movies such as Aquaman and Shazam!.
