Players might have noted a hefty patch hitting their Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Beta install. This is to get the Blackout Beta set to go, but also adds a nice slice of nostalgia.
While the 14GB patch is primarily intended to preload the Blackout Beta, it has also brought a nice slice of nostalgia to Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, in the form of a new intro video.
The video features multiple classified intelligence styled effects to denote the title’s credits, “a Treyarch game” and “Activision presents”. As fans have pointed out, this new intro video is a throwback to the intro featured in the first Black Ops game, which came out in November 2010.
