After this year’s massive Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection Capcom has announced the Capcom Beat ‘Em Up Bundle containing more even more classics. The great thing about these arcade conversions is that they are often the original versions that would have previously been compressed (and sometimes even censored) for their home console releases.
This collection includes Final Fight, Captain Commando, King of Dragons and Knights of the Round and making their debut on home consoles Armoured Warriors and Battle Circuit.
Coming in at $19.99/£15.99 with the option to play with up to 4 players online or local play and a gallery mode to view promotional art and character designs the Capcom Beat ‘Em Up Bundle is shaping up to be a near unmissable archive of some of the all-time arcade greats.
Hopefully, Capcom keeps on rereleasing these collections as three of my favorite Capcom classic beat ‘em ups are unfortunately not included this collection of undeniable greats, due most likely to licensing issues, Alien VS Predator, Caddilacs & Dinosaurs and Dungeons & Dragons. Hopefully they will make the cut in the next collection!
Available tomorrow, September 18, 2018, on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch with a PC port soon to follow. Stay tuned to n3rdabl3 and check out the official announcement trailer from Capcom below.
