2K Games has announced that Civilization 6 is heading to Nintendo Switch on November 16 bringing classic Civ gameplay to the handheld hybrid for the first time.
The Nintendo Switch version of Civilization 6 is set to come with all of the latest updates and improvements from the game’s current release including four pieces of additional content which brings four new civilizations, leaders, and scenarios: the Vikings pack, Poland pack, Australia pack, and Persia and Macedon pack.
In addition, the game will harness the Switch’s co-op multiplayer capabilities allowing up to four players to co-operate with or compete against each other via wireless local multiplayer.

Civilization 6 originally launched in 2016, in our review we wrote that “if you like strategy, then you have to pick up ‘Civilization 6’. There are a couple of things that have to be smoothed out in patches, but it’s a great game with huge replayability. Buy it, you will not be disappointed.”
