Forza Horizon 4 is just days from launch, and we’ve been teased further with some details regarding the titles planned post-launch content.
Forza Horizon 4’s live service kicks off this Friday with the Summer season. In the first week, players will be able to access 5 new season events, a co-op Trial event, and a new speed-trap challenge. All players will able to unlock a new car, the Ferrari 812.
Seasons change at 3:30 GMT every Thursday, on a one-week rotation. Car pass holders will be getting 2 new cars EACH WEEK, with every season change. Also changing weekly is the main Forzathon challenge. Better than that, Forzathon challenges will also change daily, giving players even more reasons to get online.
Week 2, autumn, will follow a similar structure, with players being given the 911 GT3 RS 19 instead. Week 3 will blast into winter and will include three new season events, a new trial, and a new danger sign challenge. Players will be able to enjoy the Chevrolet ZR2 in week 3. Spring blooms into life in week 4, with more events, and the Honda Civic 18.
October 25 will bring the biggest update, however. Set to add in Forza Horizon 4’s route creator, something us Forza fans have been asking for since Horizon 3. Players will be able to create a route by driving it, drop their own checkpoints, and then share them with their friends. The October 25 update will also bring a new Horizon Story, called British Racing Green, which is set to add ten events that focus on Britain’s automotive history. A Halloween event is also set to launch with the patch and will bring unique outfits and car horns.
