Square Enix and Titan Books have announced another collaboration that’ll see the launch of Life is Strange: Welcome to Blackwell Academy, an art book in the style of one of Blackwell’s student guides.

The news broke this weekend via the Life is Strange Twitter account, showing off the front cover of the book, which is styled like a guidebook for new students of Blackwell Academy complete with graffiti and notes across the cover from the first series’ characters, Max and Chole.

Details are thin at the moment, but the book is written by Matt Forbeck the author behind the Blood Bowl, Guild Wars, and Knights of the Silver Dragon series.

In terms of release date and pricing, Amazon is currently listing the book at £29.99 with an expected release of October 30. The North American release is scheduled for October 9.

The full description of Life is Strange: Welcome to Blackwell Academy is as follows:

“Welcome to Blackwell Academy is an in-universe book from the Life is Strange video game franchise from Dontnod Entertainment and Square Enix. This detailed book takes the form of a student guide to Blackwell Academy and the town of Arcadia Bay. Overlaid onto the pages is graffiti: notes, doodles, sketches and photographs from the Blackwell students themselves, including contributions from the beloved protagonists Max and Chloe.

“Welcome to Blackwell Academy includes information on the staff and facilities of Blackwell Academy, the people and locations of Arcadia Bay, overlaid with funny, irreverent and poignant comments from the students.”

This isn’t the first time Square Enix has partnered with Titan for a Life is Strange series as an upcoming comic series from Titan Comics is set to hit shelves this November.

The first episode of Life is Strange 2 is set to land on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on September 27 and will follow a completely new story that follows brothers Sean and Daniel Diaz.
