The closer we get to release the more info is getting caught up by the fans desperate to revisit Kanto and anticipating the release of Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu & Eevee.
Today new information was released on the GO Park portion of the game. One of the main draws of GO Park is that it’s where players can deposit any of the first 150 pocket monsters caught in Pokémon Go, Pokémon can be interacted with and certain candy earning rewards. It still looks like there’s no way to export Pokémon caught in Let’s Go to Go, which is a great loss for many players hoping to fill their ‘dexes. The recently released trailer also reaffirmed that Pokémon can be leveled up, battled, and caught in the traditional ways. Candies and motion-controlled Pokeball throwing is optional.
TIL: that at one point Psyduck was considered instead as the alternative partner Pokemon to Pikachu for Let’s go but ultimately was cut in favor of Eevee as he was the same color as the electric squirrel (look it up!).
