Bandai Namco has announced that their remastered Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition is set to land on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC on January 11.
First announced at E3 2018, Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition is a remastered version of the original title that launched in 2008. This release will also be the first time the game is available in Europe.
The Definitive Edition will feature higher screen resolution, as well as characters, events, and costumes which were never released outside of Japan. The game will also come with two new playable party members in the form of Flynn Scifo and Patty Fleur.
For those who missed out on the original, Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition will feature a specialized version of the series’ Linear Motion Battle System for combat, with players controlling a single party member in real-time whilst the others are controlled by AI commands. Players will also be able to switch between each of their party members at any time during battle.
