Epic Games has announced that Fortnite‘s annual Halloween event, Fortnitemares, will be taking place tomorrow (October 24, 2018).
Like last year’s event, Fortnitemares will offer content for both Save the World and Battle Royale. The event will take place from October 24 through to November 26. For Battle Royale, Epic Games are currently teasing that “Darkness has risen…” with a few brief teases on what content will be included.
Currently in-game, the runes which were dotted around the map have now all moved to the floating island, so it’s likely this has something to do with the Halloween event. There’s also a handful of cryptic Tweets:

As for Save The World, Epic Games has revealed that the campaign will see the Fortnitemares quest line return with a few changes, as well as two new heroes coming to the game. Of course, this news also came on the tail-end of the company announcing the game wouldn’t be launching in 2018 after all.
