Sony has unveiled the first teaser trailer for their upcoming MediEvil remake which has been “made from the grave up” for release in 2019.
Sir Daniel is back, this time in lovely HD. It’s been 20 years since we last saw our skeleton hero and many are welcoming his rebirth with open arms. Word of a MediEvil remake has been floating around the Internet ever since that incredibly convincing fake.
Sony announced earlier this year that Sir Daniel would be back, but hasn’t until now revealed that it’ll be a complete remake, not unlike Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon.
For those new to Sir Daniel’s story, this fabled hero met his unfortunate end on the battlefield. Fortunately his mortal enemy, sorcerer Lord Zarok, accidentally resurrects him 100 years later, right when he’s about to conquer the Kingdom of Gallowmere. Now it’s up to Sir Dan to protect his kingdom and put an end to Lord Zarok once and for all.
There’s also a lovely trailer to feast your eye(s) on…
With no solid release date, MediEvil is set to land on PS4 in 2019.
