Diablo Immortal is the latest entry into the Diablo franchise, offering players the chance to answer the call of war straight from their phone. Magic.
If you’re after a full Diablo release you’ll have to settle for Diablo 3 on Switch, but those of you after something even more portable will be thrilled to hear about Diablo Immortal, the latest entry into the franchise made in a collaboration between Blizzard Entertainment and NetEase Games. The title will be available on both iOS and Android, the title will take on the age-old mobile model, adding more and more content as the title progresses. Isn’t it strange that works for AAA titles too now?
Diablo Immortal will feature six classic and highly customizable character classes —Barbarian, Crusader, Demon Hunter, Monk, Necromancer, and Wizard — each coming with a wealth of new powers and abilities, with more playable classes planned for future updates.
Diablo Immortal will take place between the end of Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction and the beginning of Diablo 3.
“Diablo Immortal takes the series’ dark, gothic fantasy world of Sanctuary and inimitable Diablo gameplay, and puts it in your pocket,” said J. Allen Brack, president of Blizzard Entertainment. “With their incredible passion for Diablo and proven mobile expertise, the development team has spawned an ultra-responsive and breathtakingly beautiful mobile game, and we can’t wait for players to get their hands on it.”
