The Gamer Network has announced that EGX 2019, the UK’s biggest gaming event, will be returning to London.
EGX, the UK’s biggest gaming event, has announced a brand new venue for EGX 2019 as well as when the show will be taking place. Previously held at Earls Court, EGX moved to the NEC in Birmingham for the past couple of years, but now it’s making its return to the ExCeL in London.
EGX 2019 will take place over four days from October 17 through to October 20 and is being touted as “the best show yet”. They’ve also revealed that EGX 2019 will be sponsored once again by Virgin Media.
David Lilley, Event Director for Gamer Network – the event’s organiser – said: “We are thrilled to be bringing EGX home. Moving back to London means we can grow all elements of the show and add new content and features that we know our fans desire, making this an unmissable outing for gamers and the UK games industry.”
Interestingly, The Gamer Network has also revealed that “as a thank you” they’re working on a transportation solution to and from London for EGX 2019 for attendees of the show last year from Birmingham, Solihull, and surrounding areas. In addition, time-limited discount for EGX 2019 tickets will also be offered to those fans.
Outside of the UK, Gamer Network has also confirmed that EGX Berlin will take place from November 1 – 3, 2019.
