FOX has released the final trailer for Gotham via a 40-second trailer posted on Twitter. This will mark the final chapter in the series and the last step until Bruce Wayne finally takes up the mantle of The Dark Knight.
It’s been a long time coming since seeing the villains first brought to life in the first season so naturally it’s expected that every one of their storylines will be wrapped up and brought to their explosive conclusion. Hopefully, we’ll finally be able to see the young Bruce Wayne don the cowl for the first time and take on Gotham’s worst criminals once more.
In the final season, the writers have decided to use a mixture of storylines from the comics ‘No Man’s Land’ and ‘Year Zero’ to incorporate into the end season as they felt this material would be the most fitting for the transitioning of Bruce to the Bat. We also get a look at an old enemy brought into the TV show for the first time… BANE! Although the designers choice of outfit for the hulking venom addict is… questionable at best.
