Magic Fuel Games, featuring veteran Maxis and Sim City devs, have launched their debut title, mobile title Fort Stars for iOS and Android.
If you’ve enjoyed playing games like The Sims, Spore, and SimCity, then you’ve most likely been enjoying the work of the four veteran developers who together founded Magic Fuel Games back in 2015. With more than sixty years of experience between them, these developers have seized the opportunity to create for mobile platforms with the help of publisher PlayStack.
After three years of hard work, Magic Fuel Games have launched Fort Stars — a “next-generation” mobile game dedicated to building, defending, and invading forts. This action-strategy game invites players to customize both their offensive and defensive play styles.
The Forts of Fort Stars can be decked out with trap rooms, swordsmen, cannons, and fortress prowling guardians, all in the attempt to safeguard the player’s Throne Room (toilet joke withstanding). How you choose to defend it is up to you, but according to Magic Fuel Games, you’ll have “an innovative level editor that combines the depth of PC sim-builders with the elegance and simplicity of mobile touchscreens.” to assist you.
Form your own squad (#goals (forgive me)) from a roster of gifted fort Stars — that name’s all starting to make sense now, isn’t it — with which to invade other armed fortresses. So why not play with a friend… and politely crush their hard work to a pulp. All seventeen stars can be upgraded, and Magic Fuel intends to add more heroes regularly after launch.
Kevin Shrapnell, Chief Executive at Magic Fuel Games, announced that the team are “overwhelmed with pride and excitement to finally release Fort Stars”, so why not go on over and see what all the fuss is about?
