Treyarch has confirmed that today they’re launching Nuketown for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 at some point today.
From its introduction in Black Ops in 2010, pretty much every Black Ops game since has had some version of this iconic map. With the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, the only trace we had of the map was in Blackout where the town sat alone, destroyed on the aptly named Nuketown Island.
Now it’s finally coming, at least for PlayStation 4 players, who’ll be able to experience the map with a whole new look – one which seems to take on a cold war theme. Pretty exciting, huh? There’s currently no word on when the map will land on Xbox One or PC, but as usual, we can probably expect it around 30 days later.
Along with the map Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 has also received an update which includes a big stability update for Zombies which fixes many of the crashes players have been experiencing across all of the mode’s maps.
