Tick Tock: A Tale for Two is an upcoming co-op game that’s set to land into open beta next month, developer Other Tales Interactive has announced.
Tick Tock: A Tale for Two isn’t a spin-off of that god awful social networking app, oh no, it’s a nifty little co-op game in which two players work together on different devices in order to escape from a mystical world.
Each player is trapped in their own world and must work together to solve increasingly difficult puzzles. It seems neither player can see the full picture, so communication is key in order to succeed.
“When Tick Tock: A Tale for Two was selected to be part of PAX West’s coveted PAX10 this year, and featured in EGX’s Leftfield Collection, the great feedback we received has really helped us shape development,” said Tanja Lind Tankred of Other Tales Interactive. “We’re excited to share this build in a public beta and we can’t wait to hear your feedback on the first level. We need your help to make Tick Tock the best co-op experience possible!”
Before launch, Tick Tock: A Tale for Two is set to hold a limited open beta between December 10 and January 7, 2019 exclusively to Steam and iOS. In order to take part, players are being asked to join the Other Tales Discord channel to acquire a beta key as well as connect to other players.
Eventually, when Tick Tock: A Tale for Two launches in 2019, players will be able to jump in the game from PC, Mac, Nintendo Switch, and of course, mobile devices.
