We’ve heard all about it. We’ve thought long and hard about it. We’ve begged for some form of it… and it’s finally here… well, not quite… but it’s close enough. That’s right, Microsoft have confirmed that mouse and keyboard support will be coming to the Xbox One within days.
Speaking from X018, Microsoft confirmed a more definite date for the launch of mouse and keyboard support than they did last September, and players can expect to see changes as of November 14.
It will come as no surprise to some of us that one of the first titles which will be supporting mouse and keyboards on Xbox One will be Fortnite… bet you didn’t see that one coming, right? But it does make sense given its cross platform capabilities.
Fortnite is of course not the only title to be supported, and Microsoft has also announced that Warframe and seven other titles will receive support for mouse and keyboard play; namely Bomber Crew, Deep Rock Galactic, Strange Brigade, Vermintide 2, War Thunder, and X-Morph Defense.
While these titles have been announced as compatible from the updates launch, others are set to follow; including Children of Morta, DayZ, Minion Master, Moonlighter, Vigor, Warface, and Wargroove. Time will tell how well developers take to the update, and how long it will take to see support for our other favorite titles — if they choose to at all.
