According to a listing by German electronics retailer, MediaMarkt Assassin’s Creed is coming to the Nintendo Switch. Marked under the title “ASSASSINS CREED COMPILATION [Nintendo Switch]” the listing is rather thin when it comes to additional information.
At the moment there are a couple of inconsistencies when it comes to the listing. A quick product search of terms like “assassins creed switch” or “assassins creed compilation” will not yield the product in question as a result, in addition, it is listed as “leider ausverkauft”, meaning that it’s unfortunately sold out. Which is definitely weird for a product that hasn’t been released yet.
Furthermore, it is listed as unevaluated by the USK, the organization responsible for age ratings of video games in Germany. Not to even mention the obvious misspelling of Assassin’s Creed. Additionally, there’s neither a price nor a release date or any kind of information on the contents of this supposed compilation.
Here’s a screenshot of the listing at the time of writing, in case the listing is altered or taken down. If your German is up to snuff you can check it out for yourself.
If the listing turns out to be anything but a mistake I’d give Assassin’s Creed a whirl on the Switch. We’ve all wanted to murder people on the morning commute at some point, so the compilation should totally hit the spot.
