It has been reported that Gamestop Italy have leaked details about the up-coming Mortal Kombat 11.
Pre-orders for Mortal Kombat 11 are already available through all retailers websites, however it appears that through the Italian Gamestop page (amended as of now), once translated, reveals a ‘Kombat Pass’ including six characters and six battle passes! As well as a steel case and a new image of Shao Kahn in what seems to be his alternate clothing.
Now it’s nothing new that NetherRealm Studios like to use Kombat Passes as a form of DLC which usually involves 3-4 characters (now oddly 6 in this new leak) but a battle pass too?! That’s definitely worth noting. What could these battle passes possibly be used for? This would all come under the Premium Edition of the game and not the Standard Edition.
The translated description promises an all new rendered game engine, a new system called ‘GoreTech’, a new fatality system and all new never before seen move-sets. All part of a new personalisation system to give you endless ways to crush your opponents and customisation options that suit your means.
I cannot wait for this next entry in the series, the reveal trailer at The Video Game Awards has just made me overly hyped to decimate my opponents with Dark Raiden! I’m highly looking forward to the next installment hoping that the customisation they are talking about is in fact the same system they have in Injustice 2, just slightly altered with more options!
Mortal Kombat 11 is set to launch for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch & PC on April 23, 2019.
