PS Plus January 2019

Sony has unveiled the latest line up of games that’ll be available to PlayStation Plus subscribers for free in January 2019, and one of them will give you the chills.

First thing’s first, let’s prepare ourselves for some disappointment (maybe?) because in the next couple of months Sony will be ditching the free games offering for PS3 and PS Vita, so if you’re still clinging onto those consoles, make the most of them.

If you care not for Sony’s last-gen console or its deceptively good handheld, then hold onto your boots as January’s PlayStation Plus offerings are pretty decent.

For PS4 we begin with Steep, Ubisoft’s extreme sports title which has players bombing down snow-covered hills on skis, snowboards, parachutes, and wingsuits. It’s definitely a title you should at least try once, as it offers a pretty thrilling experience without fear of being in a full body cast.

Next up for PS4 players is Portal Knights a game which blends classic RPG mechanics with snow-covered generated levels and co-op play. What more could you want? Oh yeah, how about some titles for other platforms?

Players can also pick up Zone of the Enders HD Collection for PS3 as well as Amplitude. As for PS Vita owners, they can grab Fallen Legion: Flames of Rebellion (PS Vita & PS4) and Super Mutant Alien Assault.
