The Twitter account for the Bravely Default game series is teasing a new game, one which may feature characters from Octopath Traveler.
Following everyone speculating that Bravely Default and Octopath Traveler will be coming together in some mega cross over, the Bravely Default Twitter account is at it again seemingly teasing more of the above.
The Japanese Twitter account has confirmed that there’s a new Bravely Default game in the works. We have no idea on the platform or release window, but many have noticed the addition of H’aanit from Octopath Traveler. Check it out:

The tweet above roughly reads: “Starting work. I think this year is a different challenge, but I’ll trying to make a good game. I hope many people enjoy it!”
If that wasn’t enough to have players wetting their pants, in December, the same account Tweeted the following to celebrate the holidays:

As you may notice, Edea is holding Nintendo Switch JoyCons, a platform which Bravely Default or its sequel Bravely Second isn’t available on. This may suggest the games might be getting a port, or once again hinting that it may have something to do with Octopath Traveler, a game which did launch on the Switch.
Either way, we’re excited about a new Bravely game. Whatever it might be.
