In an unfortunate turn of events, developer Team Ninja has announced that Dead or Alive 6 will be delayed from it’s previous February 15, 2019 release date to two weeks later on the new arrival date of March 1, 2019. It’s not all doom and gloom though, I guess we can be thankful that the delay is only by two weeks rather than two months!
Over on the games official Twitter account, Yohei Shimbori, the game director and producer of Dead or Alive 6 has apologized to the fans for the inconvenience caused by the delay. He stated the reason for the two-week delay saying:
“The title’s development is already near complete; however, we would like to take more time to further polish its balance, gameplay, and expressivity. In return for your patience, we commit to bringing you the best Dead or Alive gaming experience”

Dead Or Alive 6 has focused more on the realism of the fight this time around, from the gameplay we can see the hyper-realistic, photogenic system used for face details as well as the new injury sustain mechanic to see the damage you’ve impacted on the opponent taken to a new level involving bruising, scratches, bleeding, sweat and dirt.
They’ve also added in the new Break Gauge and Fatal Rush system to ease new players into the game against the more competitive, core fan base.
Dead Or Alive 6 will release on PS4, Xbox One & PC on March 1, 2019.
