At around 1 AM EST, Natsume president and CEO Hiro Maekawa posted a 2018 yearly wrap-up on Facebook and announced that Natsume was working on several new games.

Admittedly, not many details were released about the “several new titles” other than that they “will be announced in the near future” and that they will most likely get international releases, since worldwide fans are specified several times in the post.

It is, of course, fair to assume that there will be at least one Harvest Moon title in the mix, considering that is the series Natsume is best known for. A good portion of the post also discusses how well the latest game in the series, Harvest Moon: Light of Hope Special Edition, performed across platforms, setting a new sales record for Natsume, so it would make sense for the company to attempt to meet or top that with a related game.

Finally, the post wraps up with how the company’s goal has always been to “Make everyone happy” and a wish for a positive new year for everyone.
