Silvernode Studios’ upcoming “point and lick” adventure Nine Noir Lives is the perfect game for classic point and click fans who may also like cats.
Currently doing the rounds on r/IndieGaming is a little snippet of the latest trailer for Nine Noir Lives an upcoming point and click adventure which has players taking the role of a detective cat in the capital city of kitties, Meow Meow Furrington.
There’s been a murder, so it’s up to a lone cat detective to get to the bottom of this mystery involving the aptly named Montameeuw and Catulet families.
While the game might look like your typical point and click affair, Nine Noir Lives doesn’t have players click to interact, instead they “lick”. Mmmm yummy. The game certainly seems to be hitting the nail on the head when it comes to humor, something you’ll find in most point-and-click adventures worth their salt.
Nine Noir Lives is expected to land in 2020 and currently, Silvernode Studios is doing the rounds at a couple of game expos including Make Games Africa at the Africa Games Week and the game came in second in the Nordic Game Discovery Contest.
