Nintendo has revealed a few more details on the release for the Piranha Plant fighter for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate which is due to arrive in the game sometime next month.
While we were never given a solid release date for the arrival of the early adopter character, Nintendo did set a deadline for the early adoption (January 31). This suggested that the character would be arriving in February (despite being given an early 2019 window).
While this still holds true, Nintendo has been a little more forthcoming about when we could expect it – sort of. According to the Nintendo News post on the Nintenod Switch, the Piranha Plant character is due to arrive “around” February.
Players yet to claim their Gold Points for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate are also being reminded to do so before January 31. Once done, they’ll receive an email (to their registered eShop address) with a code to claim Piranha Plant.
Once the promotion ends, players can also purchase the Piranha Plant if they so wish.
